This is an assessment of DSM-IV PTSD symptoms. This measure should be administered pre and post treatment on all children receiving SPARCS and TFCBT. Use your clinical judgement if the child is under age eight. It will likely be difficult to use this instrument with children under the age of eight - please use your clinical judgement. If you are unable to complete this assessment measure, please not this on the Assessment Checklist Form. THIS ASSESSMENT MEASURE IS NOT BEING USED BY THE CURRENT LEARNING COLLABORATIVE MEMBERS (2009-2010).
Trauma History Checklist (NSTHC)
This is a measure of exposure to traumatic events. Please administer this instrument as an interview. It should be completed at the beginning of treatment on all children receiving SPARCS and TFCBT. It is only necessary to repeat this measure at the conclusion of treatment if new traumatic events have occurred over the course of treatment.
